Barbaras Development Inc. (BDI)
Our divisions

Two divisions. One supply chain.

Barbaras Development Inc. operates two divisions. DirecTex supplies components and materials. DirecSource develops, sources and delivers. Between them they cover everything from a raw material to a delivered product, and customers engage either division directly or both through BDI.

Why one company

The handoffs are where products go wrong.

Most brands assemble a supplier here, a development shop there, a factory somewhere else and a logistics provider at the end. Every handoff is a place for a specification to drift, a lead time to slip or a cost to hide.

We built BDI to own the handoffs. DirecTex supplies the components DirecSource designs around. DirecSource oversees the production those materials go into. The same company ships the finished goods. One relationship, one management team, one line of accountability.

Customers still work with either division on its own, and many do. When a project needs the whole chain, it is already connected.
